Kunshan Customs was established in November 1993 and upgraded in October 2000. As an affiliate of Suzhou Customs, Kunshan Customs is responsible for inspecting transportation tools, freight and goods moving into and out of Kunshan; collecting duties and other fees; combating smuggling; collecting customs data and handling other related activities. Currently, Kunshan Customs has 11 functional departments.
