Deputy Mayor Shan Jie

Division of Work 

    Shan Jie is in charge of the work concerning civil affairs, agriculture and rural affairs, agriculture pilot zone, poverty alleviation,  health care, medical security, veterans affairs, people’s armed forces, Double Support (shorthand for the administrative effort to enhance ties between the army and civilian communities), the disabled, supply and marketing, and meteorology, etc.

    He oversees the work of the Civil Affairs Bureau, the Agriculture and Rural Affairs Bureau (the Rural Revitalization Bureau), the Health Commission, the Medical Security Bureau, the Veterans Affairs Bureau, the Supply and Marketing Cooperative, and Rural Rejuvenation Construction Group Co., Ltd.

    He is in charge of liaison with local People’s Armed Forces Department, the Women’s Federation, the Disabled Persons’ Federation, Kunshan Branch of the Red Cross Society of China, the Archives Bureau (Kunshan Records Office), and the Meteorology Bureau.
